Assistant Store Manager

About the role

Full-time assistant manager role at a SPAR store in Portarlington, Co. Laois, which is undergoing a major revamp. The role supports the store manager in running the shop, managing staff and keeping standards high for customers.

What you'll do

• Supervise the retail sales team daily and check tasks are completed
• Deal with and rectify customer complaints in a pleasant manner
• Co-ordinate in-store sales and promotions with the sales team
• Keep store merchandised, housekeeping at an optimum level
• Ensure cash handling policy and shelf edged labels are kept up to date

What you'll need

• Minimum of 3 years retail supervisory experience

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of CBE back office
• HACCP trained
• Previous supervisory experience
