Cook (Part-Time)

About the role

A part-time cook role at SPAR Blackwater in Co. Clare, supporting the food department of a local shop. The work keeps the deli and food service running to food safety and hygiene standards.

What you'll do

• Prepare and cook food to company standards
• Ensure food quality, presentation and freshness are high
• Follow food safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures
• Keep kitchen and food preparation area clean and organised
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management

What you'll need

• Available to work 2-3 days per week, including weekends as required
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable and flexible regarding working hours

Nice to have

• Previous cooking or food preparation experience
• HACCP training or knowledge of food safety procedures
