Full-Time – Deli Manager

About the role

Deli Manager role with The Cantillon Group, a convenience retailer in Cork, at its MAXOL site on Dunmore Road, Waterford. The post supports front-line operations and customer service at the store. The advert stresses a good work-life balance with no late evenings and little weekend work.

What you'll do

• Drive sales and improve customer service against departmental KPIs
• Minimise waste and maintain margins in the deli
• Supervise team activities daily to meet task deadlines and standards
• Ensure consistent, high-quality customer service at all times
• Make sure the deli follows company standards, policies and procedures

What you'll need

• Minimum of 2 years fresh food deli or kitchen experience
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and HACCP
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional and polite manner
